Danielle Elliott serves as Pastor of Peace Church, where she is passionate about creating a community rooted in compassion, curiosity, and courageous faith. A lifelong learner and educator, Danielle brings her background as a teacher and historian into her ministry, weaving together story, scripture, and real-world connection. She believes church should be a place where questions are welcomed, differences are celebrated, and everyone can experience God’s love without exception. Originally from South Carolina, Danielle has spent her life finding meaning at the crossroads of faith, history, and justice. Her preaching often explores how ancient stories still speak to modern struggles, and her leadership emphasizes hospitality, service, and inclusion. When she is not teaching or preaching, she loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Polly Dunford serves as the accompanist and musician for our worship services. She also teaches piano and plays for other churches in the area. Her passion includes grandchildren and singing in local choirs.
The business and affairs of the Congregation are managed by and under the direction of the Coordinating Council with accountability directly to the Congregation. The Council consists of a Moderator, Secretary, and Treasurer in addition to at least three additional members at large. The current Moderator is Nancy Shealy, Secretary is Marla Fuller and Treasurer is Russ Stanton. Names and contact information appear in The Peace Connection, our weekly eNews.
